Diesen Mittwoch verwandelt Extinction Rebellion den Treptower Park in Berlin in ein Camp für Aktivist*innen und alle Menschen, die sich für eine utopische Zukunft einsetzen.
Für das Programm haben wir uns die größte Mühe gegeben. Wir freuen uns auf:

Gemeinsam Utopien und Widerstand leben - Living Resistance Festival vom 11. bis 15. September im Treptower Park in Berlin! Organisiert von Extinction Rebellion!
Du kannst zu einzelnen Programmpunkten einfach dazukommen oder auch die Nächte im Camp unter dem Berliner Sternenhimmel verbringen. Für Küfa (Küche für Alle), Camp und Workshops freuen wir uns über Spenden zwischen 0 bis 30€ pro Tag.
Hintergrund:
Die Klimakrise und die damit verbundene Biodiversitätskrise (Artensterben) fordern uns heraus, unsere Gesellschaften grund-legend zu verändern. Es reicht schon lange nicht mehr, CO2 zu reduzieren.
Regeneration ist ein wichtiger Teil der Lösungen und kommt ursprünglich aus dem Naturschutz (aber auch als Konzept aus dem Sport mit "Regenerationsphasen"). Regeneration bedeutet die Natur im Wiederaufbau, im "Heilen" zu unterstützen, Wiedergutmachung aktiv zu leisten als Überlebensstrategie für uns alle.
Bei Extinction Rebellion übertragen wir dies auf unser Zusammenleben: Regenerative Kulturen. Hierbei geht es u.a. darum inne zu halten und auch die tief verwurzelten Ursachen der Krisen anzuschauen: durch Jahrhunderte des Kolonialismus, des Kapitalismus und patriarchal geprägte Strukturen. So sind Rassismus und Sexismus untrennbar mit Ausbeutung von Rohstoffen, Mensch und Natur verbunden. Tiefliegende Mechanismen müssen sich ändern, die diese Krisen erst ermöglicht haben.
Dies wollen wir verstehen und leben.
Wir kommen zusammen, um voneinander zu lernen, gemeinsam zu feiern, zu trauern und uns gegenseitig zu inspirieren und für Lebensfreude.

This Wednesday, Extinction Rebellion will transform Treptower Park in Berlin into a camp for activists and all people who are committed to a utopian future.

Living utopias and resistance together - Living Resistance Festival from 11 to 15 September in Treptower Park in Berlin! Organised by Extinction Rebellion!
You can simply join us for individual programme items or spend the nights in the camp under the starry Berlin sky. For Küfa (kitchen for all), camp and workshops we are happy about donations between 0 and 30€ per day.
Background:
The climate crisis and the associated biodiversity crisis (extinction of species) challenge us to fundamentally change our societies. Reducing CO2 has not been enough for a long time.
Regeneration is an important part of the solutions and originally comes from nature conservation (but also as a concept from sport with ‘regeneration phases’). Regeneration means supporting nature in rebuilding, in ‘healing’, actively making amends as a survival strategy for us all.
In Extinction Rebellion, we transfer this to our coexistence: Regenerative Cultures. Among other things, it is about pausing and looking at the deep-rooted causes of the crises: centuries of colonialism, capitalism and patriarchal structures. Racism and sexism are inextricably linked to the exploitation of raw materials, people and nature. Deep-rooted mechanisms that made these crises possible in the first place must change.
We want to understand and live this.
We come together to learn from each other, to celebrate and mourn together, to inspire each other and for joie de vivre.
