• Das erklärte Ziel - deutlich unter 2 °C globaler Erwärmung bleiben (2) - bedeutet für viele Inselstaaten das Überleben. (3)

• Aktuell sind wir auf dem Weg, die Erde um durchschnittlich 4 bis 5 °C zu erwärmen.(4)

• Schon bald könnte der Eintritt in eine lebensfeindliche Heißzeit nicht mehr abwendbar sein. (4)
