Am 07.12. um 10 Uhr wird im Amtsgericht Tiergarten eine DIY-Tempolimit Aktion verhandelt.

Der Vorwurf lautet Amtsanmaßung.

Während unsere Minister*innen auf der Klimakonferenz in Dubai mit der fossilen Lobby Cocktails trinken, werden die Lebensgrundlagen Millionen von Menschen weiter zerstört. Weder ausreichend Gelder für die Anpassungen der Länder im Globalen Süden werden endlich zur Verfügung gestellt, noch tut unsere Regierung genug, um den weiteren Ausstoß tödlicher Emissionen zu verringern.

Nicht mal das längst überfällige Tempolimit führt Herr Wissing und sein Finanzministerium ein. Deswegen hatten zu Beginn des Jahres im ganzen Bundesgebiet Aktivist*innen das Tempolimit selbst in die Hand genommen. Auf mehreren Hunderten Autobahnkilometern und in vielen Innenstädten wurden durch die Abnahme von Zusatzschildern Tempolimits eingeführt.

Wir glauben, diese Aktionen sind im Angesicht der Klimakatastrophe gerechtfertigt und notwendig!

Court hearing

On December 7 at 10 a.m., a court hearing for the DIY speed limit action will be held in the Tiergarten district court.

The accusation is "presumption of authority".

While our ministers drink cocktails with the fossil fuel lobby at the climate conference in Dubai, the livelihoods of millions of people continue to be destroyed. Neither are sufficient funds finally being made available for countries in the Global South to adapt, nor is our government doing enough to reduce further emissions of deadly pollutants.

Mr. Wissing and his Ministry of Finance are not even introducing the long overdue speed limit. That is why activists throughout Germany took the speed limit into their own hands at the beginning of the year. Speed limits were introduced on several hundred kilometers of freeway and in many city centers by removing additional signs.

We believe that these actions are justified and necessary in the face of the climate catastrophe!
