Bei der Frühlingsrebellion von Extinction Rebellion sind wir gemeinsam mit XR Buddhists wieder mit einer besonderen Aktion dabei:
Gemeinsam, still und bunt wollen wir auf die Biodiversitätskrise*, das sechste Massenaussterben der Arten, hinweisen. Spirituelle und nicht-gläubige Menschen sind herzlich willkommen.
Wichtige Bitte: Um kreativ auf unser Anliegen aufmerksam zu machen, kommt gerne als Tiere oder Pflanzen verkleidet, mit Blumen oder anderer Dekoration zum Thema. Wer möchte, bekommt jedoch auch von uns farbige Gewänder.
Unser Treffpunkt ist um 13 Uhr am Brandenburger Tor zur Seite "Unter den Linden".
Wir starten mit einer sehr langsamen Gehmeditation vom Brandenburger Tor zur Wiese vor dem Bundestagsgebäude. Dort angekommen machen wir eine Pause, um uns auszutauschen und Tee zu trinken. Wenn möglich, bringt dafür bitte eine eigene Tasse mit!
Gegen 15 Uhr laden die Extinction Rebellion Buddhists zu einem Segensritual (Puja) für die "Petition zum Ausrufen des Biodiversitätsnotstands“ ein, die im Anschluss von einer Delegation an den Deutschen Bundestag übergeben werden soll. Die Petition wurde von den XR Buddhists initiiert und wird von der Deutschen Buddhistischen Union mitgetragen. Die TeilnehmerInnen vor Ort können die Petition mitunterschreiben.
Es handelt sich um eine angemeldete Aktion.

WALKING MEDITATION "BIODIVERSITY CRISIS" FOLLOWED BY PUJA

Together with XR Buddhists, we will participate in the Spring Rebellion of Extinction Rebellion with a special action:
We want to draw the attention to the biodiversity crisis, the sixth mass extinction of species silently and in a colorful way. Spiritual people and non-believers are both welcome to join us.
Kind request: To focus on the topic creatively, we would be happy if you can come in disguise as animal or plant, with flowers or other suitable decoration. We will also bring some colored clothes, if you prefer these.
We will meet at 1 pm at Brandenburg Gate / "Unter den Linden".
From Brandenburg Gate, we will start with a slow walking meditation to the meadow in front of the Reichstag Building. Once arrived, we will have a break to exchange our impressions and drink tea. If possible, please bring your own cup.
Around 3 pm, Extinction Rebellion Buddhists will invite to a blessing ritual (Puja) for their "petition to call for a biodiversity emergency". Following this ritual, the petition will be handed over to the German Bundestag by a delegation. The petition was initiated by the XR Buddhists and is supported by the German Buddhist Union. The participants will have the chance to sign it during the action.
