Description: “Local Struggles of the Global South” highlights the disproportionate impact of climate change on developing nations in the Global South. Despite contributing the least to global emissions, these regions struggle with limited resources, inadequate infrastructure, and the compounding effects of poverty and inequality. The discussion will emphasizes the resilience of local populations as they navigate the dual challenge of climate adaptation and global inaction, while advocating for urgent international cooperation and climate justice.
